WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1644, the Save the Internet Act, which restores critical net neutrality protections overturned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) last year. The bill includes a Delgado amendment that passed the House with strong bipartisan support by a vote of 363-60.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the bipartisan Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act. The bill, which Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) is a cosponsor of, reauthorizes the 1994 Violence Against Women Act and expands upon it to prevent sexual assault and domestic violence, and support survivors.

KINGSTON, NY -- U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) today invited high school students across New York's 19th Congressional District to participate in this year's Congressional Art Competition. The winner will have their art displayed in the U.S. Capitol for the year.

"Visiting schools and working with students across Upstate New York, I know we have tremendously talented young people," Delgado said. "I can't wait to see the submissions and will be so proud to display art from here at home in the U.S. Capitol."

WASHINGTON, DC -- Today, Congressman Antonio Delgado (NY-19) led the reintroduction of the Medicare-X Choice Act, legislation to create a public option health plan available for purchase on the individual and small business exchanges. Delgado was joined by Representatives John Larson (CT-1) and Brian Higgins (NY-26). The bill would combine Medicare physician networks and reimbursement rates with Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage standards to create a new, public health insurance option available to all Americans.

KINGSTON, NY – Each month, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado's district caseworkers will host mobile office hours for constituents to come meet with the congressman's staff and receive assistance with casework. Casework can include any type of support with federal services, from farmers applying for grants to seniors having issues with their Social Security benefits to veterans needing more information on VA services.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) signed on as a cosponsor to H.R.9, the Climate Action Now Act. The bill requires the Administration to fulfill the commitments our country made in joining the Paris Climate Accord—it blocks the Administration from withdrawing the U.S. from the historic agreement and requires the Administration to put forth a comprehensive plan to address climate change and reduce pollution.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Paycheck Fairness Act, which further protects against gender-based pay disparities. Delgado is an original cosponsor of the legislation introduced earlier this year.
