Rep. Delgado Tours Catskill Foreland Project
CATSKILL, NY – Yesterday, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) toured the Foreland project in the village of Catskill. The 85,000 square foot project redevelops three historic downtown village buildings. In January, Rep. Delgado provided a letter of support to the New York Main Street program in support of the Foreland project.
“It was fantastic to see the Foreland project's investment in our local upstate economy,” said Rep. Delgado. “As we recover from COVID-19 and begin to rebuild, I will keep working to ensure there are significant investments on Main Streets across New York's 19th Congressional District.”
“Foreland is an 85,000 square foot contemporary arts campus that promises to anchor the region's creative talent and arts economy within a thoughtfully considered architectural site,” said Founder and Owner of Foreland Stef Halmos. “Foreland will bring tourism and community growth in equal measure, further cementing New York's 19th Congressional District as a mecca for arts and artists. We were thrilled to welcome Congressman Delgado and to learn more about his initiatives locally and as an ally to the arts and the communities we love.”
