Rep. Delgado Honors National Guard Members Stationed in DC, Holds 58th Town Hall in Hoosick Falls
HOOSICK FALLS, NY – Tonight, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) honored and presented flags to three Rensselaer National Guard Members, Captain Maurice Catel, Staff Sergeant Ryan Sams, and Staff Sergeant Michelle Bradley, who were stationed in Washington, D.C. to protect the Capitol building following the insurrection on January 6. While in Washington, the Congressman visited and thanked New York National Guard members. During the town hall, Captain Catel thanked the Hoosick Falls community and Rep. Delgado for supporting them and their families while stationed in D.C.
In his opening remarks, Rep. Delgado highlighted his successful legislative track record during Republican and Democratic administrations, his focus on local upstate issues, and the need to invest in our infrastructure. The Congressman answered questions from constituents about American-made goods, infrastructure, ALS legislation, health care, term limits, mental health, redistricting, animal rights, and gun violence prevention efforts.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rep. Delgado held 20 virtual town hall events to connect with constituents and provide critical information. The Congressman has held 58 total town hall events during his time in office.
