"If we want to build our economy back stronger and support our communities, we need to invest in American goods that create American jobs," said Rep. Delgado. "This Congress, I've introduced two bipartisan bills to ensure our tax dollars are spent on American products and to promote American manufacturing. I want to thank local small business owners, workers, and business leaders for joining today's important conversation."

In September, Rep. Delgado introduced the BuyAmerican.Gov Act, bipartisan legislation establishing a centralized online hub to increase transparency and ensure federal agencies prioritize the purchase of American-made goods. Today, the Congressman announced the introduction of the bipartisan MADE HERE Act. This legislation advances new manufacturing technologies and promotes a skilled workforce by bringing together educational institutions, private companies, nonprofits, labor groups, and government-funded resources to solve pressing issues in the area of manufacturing.
