Delgado Meets with Forestry Industry Stakeholders

CAIRO, NY — Today, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) toured the Northeast Treaters Plant in Athens, B & B Forest Products in Cairo, and sat down with business owners and stakeholders in the forestry industry to hear about the challenges they face.

“I appreciate the opportunity to sit down with members of the upstate forestry industry to hear more about what Congress can do to help them succeed,” said Delgado. “Today’s conversations covered the climate crisis and carbon sequestration, the ongoing effects of the trade war with China, and how to protect our upstate forestry economy.
