A Pine Plains post office may soon bear the name of a town native who died serving the country.
 
Under a bipartisan bill introduced by Congressman Antonio Delgado, the post office at 7722 South Main St. would be renamed the "Senior Chief Petty Officer Shannon M. Kent Post Office."

U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado will be holding two town halls over the weekend. 

On Saturday, Delgado will be at Golding Middle School in Cobleskill from 1-2 pm. On Sunday, he will be at the State Theater in Deposit from 12-1 pm.
