New York Congressman Antonio Delgado has introduced a bill to help retain young people in rural communities by offering student loan relief.
Representatives Abby Finkenauer (D-IA-1) and Antonio Delgado (D-NY-19) introduced the Rural Revitalization Now Act (H.R. 8835) on December 2, 2020 to provide up to $50,000 in student loan forgiveness for borrowers who commit to living and working in rural areas for eight or more years.
