RED HOOK, NY — This evening, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) delivered remarks at the Red Hook VFW Post #7765 Veterans Day ceremony. The Congressman joined County Executive Marc Molinaro, County Legislator Kris Munn, Town Supervisor Robert McKeon, Mayor Ed Blundell, local officials and veterans as a wreath was laid at Veterans Memorial Park in Red Hook.

SAUGERTIES, NY — This morning, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) joined members of the Saugerties Lamouree-Hackett American Legion Post 72 for their annual Veterans Day ceremony. At the event, the Congressman delivered remarks and presented an American flag flown over the U.S. Capitol in recognition of the Legion Post’s Centennial Celebration last year, which honored the 100th anniversary of the American Legion.
ALBANY — A dozen veterans from the U.S. Marines, Army, Air Force and Navy, along with three civilians arrived at the state Capitol in Albany on Monday morning after a 22-hour walk from Kingston through parts of Greene County.
Organized by the Hudson Valley Center for Veteran Reintegration’s Vet2Vet of Ulster County program, the 56-mile walk kicked off at 11:30 a.m. Sunday with addresses delivered by guest speakers at Tech City in Kingston. Participants traveled up Route 9W through four counties and 12 towns.

WASHINGTON, DC—This week, the U.S. Senate passed Representative Antonio Delgado’s bipartisan legislation to rename the Pine Plains Post Office after fallen soldier Senior Chief Petty Officer (SCPO) Shannon M. Kent. SCPO Kent, a Dutchess County native, was killed in Syria by a suicide bombing during her fifth combat tour in the Middle East this past January.
